Great Work Week
It was a busy work week and yet it was great. I had several meetings and I would say a number of feasible projects. And I'm enjoying, yes I am! At long last, pagkatapos ng mahabang pagmumuni-muni :), I finally got what I wanted. To keep myself busy and productive without a bit of stress! Maybe because I love what I'm doing.. or maybe it's still too early for me to say this? :) Ok, ok.. I bet my friends will just shrug their shoulders with the thought that I love my new job.. again.. for the nth time. They're probably preparing their bets! ;)
Work is like love, it's hard to find your exact match. It's also like math, has lotsa trials and errors. Hep hep, I know these statements of mine will raise eyebrows, but those are just opinions. We develop our love for our work, the more we stay in a company, the more we should get attach to our jobs, the more we should love what we're doing (though it doesn't usually happens). And if we don't feel the hots or the fire anymore, if we feel that our work is already a cycle, a routine, then we have to assess ourselves. Is there something wrong? Do I still fit in? Am I still happy with what I'm doing? And if things still don't work out right, then we just have to let go. It's really like a relationship, right?
But time is the biggest factor here.. we cannot just look for a job, get a job, enjoy all the perks, then let go after some time. We have to end the cycle. How? Just like in any relationships, if we feel that we're ready to commit.. then we get married. And we live with it. And we stay happy with that commitment.
And I'm proud to say that I am happy now -- both with work and love.
