Bridal Shower

The concept of a bridal shower is to ensure that the bride-to-be is well prepared for her married life. It is held to provide the bride-to-be with gifts to help her set up her new home. However, the bridal shower also provides an opportunity for the bride-to-be's women friends to provide her a sense of support as she enters into this new phase of her life.
And so we, the married and single women of eMVI prepared a shower for Flor, she's gonna get married to Rommel, also from eMVI, on Friday, Oct 7.

And as usual, the bride-to-be was showered with lotsa naughty stuff -- scented candles, feminine wash (fresher feeling all day and night ;P), breath freshener, tissue (what for? hehehe), audio cd's, to set the mood :), thongs, whip cream (whoah!), shawl (pang-seduce ba ito?) and lastly, slippers with feather straps, hmmm... After the kalandian's :) came the serious part and I would say the essence of a bridal shower -- to prepare the bride-to-be for a married life -- the words of wisdom / advices from our happily and not so happily-married women of eMVI. And of course, singles have their own advices to share too.

It was a very inspiring event. We all left with smiles in our faces.
