Season 3

Done with Smallville Season 3. And the story gets more interesting. Well there were some flaws but the cast surely covered up.

For the first two seasons, Clark Kent discovered and experimented his newly found super powers and week after week saved his friends -- Clark's friends are like cats, all of them have nine lives or more. :) With the opening of the third season, it was Clark that needed some rescue (I hate him when he's wearing that red kryptonite college ring), a nice little twist of events to keep the series more exciting.

Sad na ko, in this season, the darker side of Lex begins to appear, pero wawa pa din sya as the son of Lionel -- btw John Glover, Lionel Luthor, at his age -- around 50's(?), has still a defined body (hahaha I just noticed when he was being treated in the hospital and was half naked). Anyway, after Lex stayed in a mental institution due to a psychotic break, he emerged more determined than ever to supplant his father as head of LuthorCorp.

The friendship between Clark and Lex begins to show signs of stress. This is a darker season, one that touches on a wider range of human emotions and relationships. Here, Jonathan Kent does what any good father would do, risking everything to save his son. There are lots of clashes also between Lionel and Lex Luthor. Father and son relationships usually move me.

While most television series focus on youth common issues such as sex and drugs, Smallville centers on more typical relationships nurtured in extraordinary circumstances.
