It's Been a While

Wow! It's been a while.... and I'm back. There were tons of changes since the last time I blogged, I guess a month of blogging wouldn't be enough. :)

First, I was still single when I last blogged, and now I'm married... happily married. :) No kids yet though.

Second, I was still with my Meralco family when I last posted a blog and now I'm with one of the leading telco's in the country, making great things possible... Globe! Haha! Not so me.

Third, I do have a business of my own now. Not really a business, just a lil hobby of mine which turned out to be a good source of income. ;) Though that's just secondary, I am really loving this lil "hobbusiness" of mine, making my already toxic life more toxic. ;)

So on and so forth.... I can't promise that I can blog regularly as I was doing before, my sched's one of those 180 degrees shift in my life. Tsk tsk tsk! Not that I'm not loving it, of course I do, especially now that I already have a lifetime partner.. in crime. ;)

It feels good to blog again. Hope I can still do this again soon.

A Pre-Father's Day Wedding

We attended a family friend's wedding yesterday, June 14. Ceremony was held in our church in Pateros and reception followed at BBCBG facility (old Dencio's, across NBC Tent).

It was nice to see familiar faces, acquaintances, old friends, we we're so young then... and now, everybody's getting married (ouch!).

Food's ok, I had lots of lechon.

Photo and video coverage by Megapixels. I like their AVP, it was done in a funny way, not the typical 'romantic wedding' mood.

It was indeed a happy wedding.

Congratulations and best wishes once again, Zeus and Iris!

Since it's Father's day today, happy father's day, Daddy! We wouldn't have everything we have right now if not for you and mom.

I remember when I was younger, I used to tell myself that someday when I get married, I would want that man to be like my father. And it's still the same up to now.

Thank you would be an understatement for such a great dad like you. We may have misunderstandings at times, but you'll always be the same great person I know and I promise to always be a loving daughter (though I know it doesn't show at times) to you and mom.

Happy Dad's day as well to all my daddy friends (literally daddies and the sugar daddies). ;-)

So Pinoy

It was my first day today in the two-day advanced defensive driving seminar (duh?). I was 'forced' to attend, not that I'm a reckless driver (a bit) but because I already got my new car (woohoo!!!) last week from Globe. Oh well, since our cars were being provided by Globe and we don't have any contributions, they would wanna make sure that we can take care of our cars, hehehe!

Ok, so I started my day with a heavy traffic, good thing Mike picked me up and I didn't bring my car since I'll be in Makati the whole day for the seminar, and the seminar's morning session was way too boring for me. I went to the restroom several times, I went out for some phone calls, I opened my laptop and went online to work while listening to the speaker once in a while.. ;-)

Then lunchtime came, even the food was boring. Just when I thought my adrenalin would sleep the whole day came Bevs (she was an ex-colleague in Enterprise Business group and with the Corporate Business Group now) in a panic mode looking for business cards, she'll give her business card to this ever gorgeous guy who's having lunch in a resto in A. Venue Hotel, same floor, actually beside the activity room where we are having our seminar.

Look what I got here! :-)

Hahaha! I can't believe I approached him and asked him "pwede?" while showing him my digicam! Eeeewwwww! By the way, I don't always bring my cam, it so happened that I came from Tagaytay yesterday and I was planning to upload the photos during breaktime. *excuses* Anyway, nice timing, eh! :-)

And so I left A. Venue Hotel with a smile....

So Pinoy! :-)

Back to blogging *wish*

Whoah! It's been a looooooong time! I haven't been blogging for like 7 months? That's quite long, huh! I've been very busy, nah! That's an understatement! I've been like extremely toxic for the past months - emotionally, not to worry friends, it's just work.. oh well, to start off..

I'm now with the company that makes great things possible, naks! :-P Not that the previous one doesn't do that, of course they do, too. And I miss my eMVI family, ok ok, some of them lang, hehe! Others, so-so, I can live without them.. or I'm more at peace without them around (baaaaaaaad! tsk tsk tsk!). Well, I don't need to mention my real eMVI buddies, they know who they are.. amishu guys! hope we can get together soon! We surely have a lot of catching up (equals photo shoots) to do! ;-)

Ok, so I moved to Globe last Feb 18. Since then, I haven't been normal. Hahaha! Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm happy, I really am! I am happy and toxic! :-) I was thinking of making a list of those things I missed during these times of the year since I moved to Globe:

1. No out-of-the-country trip last Feb / March
2. No white sand / beaches yet up to this time, it's June already, rainy season na..
3. I haven't been charging my personal phones regularly (including bill payment? harharhar!) since Globe issued me a Blackberry
4. I haven't been shopping every other day, wehehe!
5. I hardly go to malls, I'm always seen in coffee shops all over the Metro for wi-fi access
6. I haven't had a haircut for ages
7. No time for badminton :-(

Sheesh! Lotsa things I'm missing.. good thing, we see to it that we go out-of-town during long weekends (the only good thing PGMA has done for us).

That's why I was able to blog.. I'm here in Starbucks, Tagaytay.. taking a 10-minute-break from work.. And now, gotta go back to work, 10 minutes is up.

I'll still be posting old photos from previous months' activities, will be back soon!

Fab Night

Friday, Nov 23
Manila Pavilion

At long last, nakumpleto din kami and natuloy din ang overnight. :)

Thanks to Khorin's honey, pinayagan sya to go overnight - in one condition. Strictly no boylets and since wala naman talaga, 'the coast is perfectly clear from the opposite sex', ayun join sya! :-)

We had the usual and not-so-usual girl bonding. Photo shoot to the highest level, kahit na di naman to the highest level ang alcohol intake namin, as if to the highest level ang trip (as always). As in with efforts yung photo shoots, Regie had to bring lots of white tops for our 'ala-pantene' photo, hahahaha! Though I don't think I can post those pix here, it's not-so-GP (as in general patronage!). :-P

So after our Tia Maria's dinner, we went to the nearest convenience store for our drinks and junkies. Khorin also bought a blank cd so she can alrealy have a copy of our pix, but it turned out that the cd was not blank at all but a pirated Ogie Alcasid cd, hahaha! Hmmmm... so who's the culprit, the cd manufacturer or 7-11?

So syempre, drinking session would be a lot boring kung walang sharing.. as in sharing of kwento's.. everybody wanted to get a brownie, for the saddest story! :-)

Oh well, no contest, Che won.. she let us watch the AVP she made for her... hubby? (Che, hubby pa din ba?) Cry-ola ever kami, swear! Grabe! They've been together for like 16 years already.. Wow! Sixteen years of laughter.. of sweet memories.. and.. the not-so-good memories.. :-/
Well, Khorin had her own share of sad stories.. though I hardly remember one.. harharhar!

Maybe because it looked like our lives were so mababaw na compared to Che's.. actually her current situation.. =/ I really can't help feeling sad.. Sorry, mare.

Oh well, we really can't have everything.. it all depends on our priorities.. either career, love, or family, friends.. why can't we have them all as perfect as we wanted to? No matter how hard we tried...

Anyway, enough of senti's, Khorin was so kulet na after two bots, she kept on butting in, tapos ang kulet ng hirit! =)
Me naman, non-stop eating of brownies, as if ako ang nanalo sa saddest story contest! =P Rej, I super love the brownies, next time ulet ha.. =)

I also had my share of sad experiences but I opted not to tell them.. not because I didn't want to.. naubusan na lang ako ng airtime, ang haba ng mga kwento nila eh wehehehe!

And lastly, si Regie na walang malay... she's the best listener for the night! Di sya nakipag-agawan sa airtime, she's too busy with her pik-nik! :) And after her first bot, ayun! Straight to bed, husay! =)

Past 1AM, she was already snoring, weheheh!

We were laughing so hard pa (minus Regie) past 4AM because of the pix I uploaded in my notebook.. I did some editing and they were so funny! Anything we like, like slimmer arms, bigger boobs, hahahaha! Kahit sa pix lang! =D

Morning after pix... =)

Serendra and Margarita

Friday, November 9
Serendra
As the clock strikes 12 midnight, Customs Bar, Ortigas :-)

Oh my God, I'm gonna die (ala Marielle of PBB :-P)!!! At long last, Trebulski finally went night out! :-) Too bad, Khorin wasn't able to join us. She attended a friend's birthday party and was already drinking around 9PM somewhere in QC and Serendra is a bit far from where she was that time. ;-)

This night out was kindda short notice, since Mike was in Cebu from Thursday to Saturday, I sort of asked my friends for dinner and maybe a few drinks on a Friday night. And as usual, short noticed plans always have a high probability to push thru compared to those with long period planning. :-)

So Regie and I met around 8PM in Serendra for dinner. We chose Abe' (with a tagline - where good friends dine), a Kapampangan resto, since both of us haven't tried that yet and wow! The food's great and somehow affordable. I soooo love the tamarind shake (the one in the picture), swear! :-) We had.. uhmmm was that nilasing na hipon? Well, looks like that. And spicy lechon paksiw, yummy! Which made me eat rice. ;-)

It's ok though since after dinner, we explored Bonifacio High for a bit of shopping and while waiting for Che who was still in La Salle Greenhills that time for her volleyball, same old sporty Che. :-)

Good thing Che got to Serendra around 11PM, I was able to buy the cool shirt I spotted last Wednesday before the Beyonce Experience but I wasn't able to buy since I didn't have much time to fit and check myself for a couple of times in the mirror before deciding to buy. :-) And I got a black flip-flops too! Yey! How ecstatic I was! Harharhar!

We were suppose to have coffee in Serendra but when we met Che, she started talking about her mala-telenovela life, we decided to go to Custom's Bar na lang, para mas masarap ang kwentuhan.. with our all time favorite buddy, Margarita! ;-)

I super had a great time, I miss my friends.. that's why we're gonna go out again next week, this time it's gonna be overnight, sobrang kulang yung 8PM to 3AM chikahan time namin. ;-P

Funny part was I checked some old pix a while ago, and I really can't help laughing. We were in fourth year high in these pix.

From left: Regie, Khorin, sHenGGie, Che

Regie looks the same even after 14 years. Gleng!

This next pic is in one of those some-kindda-baduy parties in school, hehe and grabeeeeeeee! Eeeewwww! I myself was in denial, hahaha! Ako ba 'to? Omigosh! Was I a boy back then? Wala ako recall! ;-)

Okrayan time:

Polka dots was in during that time ha! Or was this a New Year party? :-)
Khorin: di mo naman masyado like yung printed noh? :-)
sHenGGie: favorite yung polka dots? Polka dots pa rin even after 14 years? :-)
Che: is that your sleeves or mine? :-P
Regie: mariposa, is that you? hahaha! Up to now, Regie's fave color is violet, can I use your fave color as my wedding motiff? Naks! :-P

It's really super fun to look at old pix! Amishu guys! I'm looking forward for our overnight gig. I'll see you guys next Friday night, ok? Khorin's gonna join us this time. Oraaayt!

Happy B-Day!

Wednesday, November 7
8PM
Beyonce Experience
The Fort

To the left..
To the left..
To the left..
To the left..

Everything you own in the box to the left
In the closet, yes that's my stuff
Yes, if I bought it, then please don't touch...

And keep on talking that mess, that's fine
Could you walk and talk, at the same time?
And it's my name, that's on that bag
So go move your bags,
Let me call you a cab
Standing in the front yard, telling me
How I'm such a fool, talking 'bout
How I'll never ever find a man like you...

You got me twisted!

I just can't get enough of this song, it's even my ringtone up to this day, as in for the longest time na! ;-P

Anyway, I didn't know that Mike was really serious to watch Beyonce's concert, he was like telling me that he'll get tickets weeks back but he never did. Until he confimed to me that he was able to get tickets that same day (as in the day of the concert) during my meeting with Smart. :-)

What a surprise! He even got VIP seats, woohoo! ;-)

I was so excited that I went home during my lunch break to get a pair of jeans and my digicam. But since Mike is a law-abiding citizen, hehehe, since no camers allowed (supposed to be) and it was printed on the tickets, he didn't allow me to bring my cam inside the venue. So there, not so good pix, from my phones lang kse. =/ What's more kainis was when I found out that most of the people inside brought their cams, hmp!

Anyway, it was really worth the sweat and sore feet. I so love Beyonce (and the hunks she brought with her)! :-)

Thanks Mike for the treat! Ahluvit!
