A Pre-Father's Day Wedding

We attended a family friend's wedding yesterday, June 14. Ceremony was held in our church in Pateros and reception followed at BBCBG facility (old Dencio's, across NBC Tent).


It was nice to see familiar faces, acquaintances, old friends, we we're so young then... and now, everybody's getting married (ouch!).

Food's ok, I had lots of lechon.

It was indeed a happy wedding.

Congratulations and best wishes once again, Zeus and Iris!

Since it's Father's day today, happy father's day, Daddy! We wouldn't have everything we have right now if not for you and mom.

I remember when I was younger, I used to tell myself that someday when I get married, I would want that man to be like my father. And it's still the same up to now.

Thank you would be an understatement for such a great dad like you. We may have misunderstandings at times, but you'll always be the same great person I know and I promise to always be a loving daughter (though I know it doesn't show at times) to you and mom.


Happy Dad's day as well to all my daddy friends (literally daddies and the sugar daddies). ;-)

Tagaytay

We left Manila around 9:30AM and got to Tagaytay around 11:30AM, just in time for lunch. We went straight to People's Park for our lunch picnic.

As always, Mom prepared our food, pork adobo, fried talong, quail eggs and tomatoes. Yummy! :-)

This was my lunch plate, I'm trying to limit my carb in-take. :-)

And of course, our out-of-town trip wouldn't be complete without food (of course!) and a photo shoot, :-) I'll post more pix in my multiply soon.

We bought buko macapuno (my favorite :p), espasol, turones de kasoy, bukayo from a 'guest' vendor while we were having lunch. :-) We chatted for like a few hours after lunch before we left People's Park.

I would wanna walk pa sana to sweat out all we had for lunch but they're in the mood, we had enough walking na daw. :-)

We then went to Tagaytay Royale, road trip and house viewing :-), it's some sort of relaxation for us.

Then off we went to Splendido to get some fresh air and guess what else?

Splendido's a really cool place, if only this is near my place, this would be my official escape hide-out, somewhere I can go to whenever I'm stressed... from different battles in life... hmmmm.. see? Nag-emote agad ako! :-)

Then we had dinner in RSM Lutong Bahay.It's fiesta once again, folks! :-)

It was a long and tiring day but it's still worth doing again. I'll never exchange this trip even with a triple-pay of my daily wage. ;-P

A Lovely Dinner

I had a wonderful birthday, thanks for remembering, my dear friends. I still worked, no birthday leaves in eMVI, then I just had dinner (and a little Casino ;-P) with my family.

I had my birthday dinner in Market Cafe at Hyatt Hotel, Manila. I so love this place, ambiance pa lang, winner na! =D

As always, I pigged out on rockefeller and salmon sashimi. Lamb chops are ok, too.

Oh, and I also love their chocolate fondue. I can no longer eat ice cream even if I so wanted to, coz I can already feel my bloated tummy. ;)

Thanks DM for this lovely treat.

We really enjoyed the buffet, from the sinful appetizers to desserts.

We all went home with additional two pounds. ;-)

Summer Outing

I promised myself that I won't be going to beaches this summer -- simply because I don't wanna get a tan. I happened to be one of the chosen bridesmaids of my friend Gnet for her big day on July, few months from now and unfortunately, a yellow and green gown won't look good for a tanner! ;-) Arte! hehehe






But then, I can't miss out our family outing, it only comes once in a while, when all our scheds meet.. meaning, once a year! :) We went to Tarnate Cavite with my dad's group in Meralco and then we had our dinner at Tagaytay.

I just played with Photoshop so please bear with the not-so-artistic pix, I got inspired with digital photography because of the big day preps. ;-)

We just had an afternoon stroll at MMLDC, Antipolo and dinner at Areva Pavilion, also at MMLDC. It was a day well spent, well it should be coz it's my mom's birthday. Happy birthday, Mom! :)






We all went home fully loaded. ;-)

Bicol Experience

Not so famous and yet fabulous beach in Pulang Daga, Paracale, Camarines Norte
I thought I can only see white sand in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte and d-beach-party-place Bora... Never did I know that I can see one in a simple and quiet small town in Bicolandia, right in the heart of my Dad's hometown. We didn't really went to Bicol for the beach fun, we just accompanied my lolo, he doesn't wanna stay here in Manila, all he wanted is to stay for good in Bicol. Now I know why.. Bicol is a beautiful place to stay, maybe I will someday.. long term plan.

What else should we do in a place like this? Pix addicts on the loose!
Nothing much to do so we decided to act like a-bit-beyond-the-normal beings.. :)

I'm really looking forward to go back to Bicol soon. To visit my lolo and lola and of course to go back to Pulang Daga.

It was tiring but we really had a great time. Thanks to DM for the ride. Tnx tnx tnx to the highest level! hehehe I'm really glad that DM's getting along well with my family. Gleng gleng!
