Congratz!

Congratulations MDi basketball team, of course to my DM :), for the fourth win. Whoah! 4-0! Top that! :) Sayang, I wasn't able to watch your game a couple of hours back, I woke up late and so iniwan na ko Michael hehe.. it's ok, I understand, he still has to prepare for his game, dami seremonyas nun before playing, as in. :)

Too bad MDi women's volleyball team didn't make it. :-/ Anyway, you guys have 2 wins already and there's still hope I guess. *wish*wish* Goodluck on your next game, girls!

How I wish I'm still with MDi, ooops baka ma-misquote ako! :) Just because of the sportsfest lang, yun lang po. ;-)

Flower Power

Another sweet surprise from the 'flower boy' himself ;) -- DM! Thanks again po for these wonderful flowers, hmmm.. post-anniv gift? I thought tapos na surprises yesterday. :) I was like melting when I saw them in my desk when I got back from lunch -- oh well, flower power! :) Come to think of it, what's with flowers? Why are we girls soooo flattered whenever we receive flowers? Maybe because it makes us feel special.. flowers are beautiful.. and so are we! :) Ganda ng logic ko noh? :)

It's Been a Year

First anniversaries are special, maybe because it's the first of all the anniversaries to come. Or maybe because it is a make or break period for couples -- whether they can still live with their partners for another year and years to come or they got tired and stressed out the first year and they would wanna quit. And I'm glad we're on the right track -- stronger and a lot better.. ever.

Thanks sweetie for a pre-anniversary treat last night -- Back to Basics concert at the Big Dome. Well I have to admit, how stupid can I get, I don't know Joe Pizzulo was the guy behind so many classic love songs -- 'What Do We Mean To Each Other', 'Never Gonna Let You Go', and many more. Teri de Sario is no-question a huge name. With Nina, Luke Mijares and the Passage band as front acts, who wouldn't love this concert? And of course, if you're with your special someone, what else can you ask for? :)

I so love Teri De Sario's 'It Takes a Man and a Woman' and 'One Hello', grabe effortless sya, Joe Pizzulo's 'What Do We Mean To Each Other?' and 'Happy Man' rendition and of course Joe and Nina's duet, 'I'm Never Gonna Give You Up'. Luke Mijares and the Passage band are equally great performers.

Since the concert finished before the clock strikes 12, we decided to make salubong to our special day. We had late dinner at Bizu-Greenhills and here is our anniversary cake! :) Highly recommended yung Samba cake ng Bizu, promise! We had a real burrrrpy late dinner, mine was pasta and he had steak, takaw! Kaya kami tumataba eh! :D

Bottomline is, it's not only a night well ended but a year greatly spent. And looking forward for more wonderful years together to come, sweetie.

Old Friends

People and sometimes even friends come and go -- but true friends don't. They stay. They're for keeps. And I'm glad I've lots.

Friday, November 4 -- I played badminton with my best buddy Khorin. She was with her charming and smart daughter Aina and of course, as always, I was with DM.

Then we had dinner at a nearby chicken-inasal resto in QC, on our way to Khorin's place. Kakaaliw si Aina, she's really fun to be with, lotsa stories to share and even she's still a kid, I already noticed the kakikayan in her, from outfits to pictures to the pambatang kilig stuff, tsk tsk tsk.. :) This pic was taken by Aina, this little girl surely loves pix! I and DM really got tired of the number of say-cheese-smiles I had coz she's a real camera addict! As if we had a photo shoot that night. May pinagmanahan! :)


Friday, November 11 -- High school friends -- One of my best buddies Regie called me up inviting me for a coffee and chat -- she's a bit 'wrecked' from a heartache. :-/ So I said yes, not because she's lonely but because I missed her, it's been a long time since we last went out for a talk and of course I know she needs us now. She wanted to see some kids, maybe to lighten up her mood instead of us talking about her not-so-good situation right now, and so we decided to visit Che, she already has 3 kids, kainggit, so off we went to Che's place -- and was amazed to see Donalie, Karla and Arlyn (highschool pals). Well, the power of short-noticed-get-togethers! :) And it was reaaaaally fun!

Sunday, November 13 -- College buddies -- Happy beerday, Cele! We had dinner at Chili's-Timog and coffee at Gloria Jeans afterwards. We didn't had a chance to spend longer hours together since it was a Sunday and we don't want to get to work late on a Monday. It's great to see Cele, Gnet and Aye again, these guys are really hilarious! Our common thing -- videoke! :)

Diamonds and Pearls

While waiting for DM at the waiting area of Piandre-Libis, DM would want another make-over :), I browsed through some pages of fashion mags and was fascinated with these beautiful things. So I grab my phone and took some pix, since I know these things are pricey and even if someday I might afford *wish*, I might as well copy the design and go to the nearest jeweler for a perfect copy -- piracy! harharhar Kiddin! Hey, I'm not giving hints here, k? ;)
