Kidzzz

It's feast day at DM's place and I had a chance to be with his pamangkins again and it was indeed bigtime fun with these cutie pies! :)

Aren't these kiddos super adorable? ;)

Well, tiring, yeah, but definitely worth all my energy consumed. ;)

A Knot Tied

We attended a wedding a couple of hours ago at the Shrine of Jesus then reception followed at the Coco Palace. The bride is DM's cuz Marilen. Actually, I just met her during the reception, di naman ako gatecrasher noh? ;) Their motif is fuschia pink, a bit bright during daytime but fits well for a night affair. It was a wonderful wedding, Ariel Javelosa for the photo and video services, Josiah's catering for the food and Magical Events for the wedding coordination -- di naman obvious na masyado na ko obsessed with wedding suppliers? Hahaha!

Summer Outing

I promised myself that I won't be going to beaches this summer -- simply because I don't wanna get a tan. I happened to be one of the chosen bridesmaids of my friend Gnet for her big day on July, few months from now and unfortunately, a yellow and green gown won't look good for a tanner! ;-) Arte! hehehe

But then, I can't miss out our family outing, it only comes once in a while, when all our scheds meet.. meaning, once a year! :) We went to Tarnate Cavite with my dad's group in Meralco and then we had our dinner at Tagaytay.

I just played with Photoshop so please bear with the not-so-artistic pix, I got inspired with digital photography because of the big day preps. ;-)

Goodbye and Goodluck

This blog is for my work buds Carmines and of course Jay. They feel that they need to move out for some reasons and we understand and respect their decision.

We prepared a party for them at Trixie's place in Amberland. And we had fun, though sadness still bites us because we won't be seeing them and laughing with them everyday the way we used to. Oh well, life's like that -- always in mixed hues.

By the way, today is also Carmine's birthday. Happy birthday, 'te! ;) Here's wishing you all the best the world can give -- kahit alam ko na kung ano yung kaisa-isang wish mo ngayon. ;)

We will definitely miss you guys. Thanks for everything and we wish you all the luck in your new found jobs. Keep in touch, k?

Coffee

I received a feel-good forwarded mail from my long-time friend Regie and it was a realization on how we treat our lives. And I would want to share this wonderful message. Here goes.

-----------------------------

A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university professor. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life. Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups - porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite - telling them to help themselves to hot coffee.

When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said: "If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is but normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress.

What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups and were eyeing each other's cups.

Now if life is coffee, then the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, but the quality of Life doesn't change. Some times, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee in it."

So, don't let the cups drive you... enjoy the coffee instead.

Thanks Rej for this wonderful email. And I remember I haven't posted our pic last time we went bar hopping two months ago with uhmmm.. sowee.. Dave. :-) I miss my friend Rej, it's quite some time since we last went out for coffee.. and how can I forget our Kurant sessions. :-)

Enzo and Ice Age 2

It was a kiddie Sunday for DM and I. We went to a kiddie birthday party, it's Enzo's 1st birthday, Ryan and Bylin's lucky charm. :-)
Then off we went to Rockwell to watch Ice Age 2. It was a soooooper fun movie! I love it! I love 'em all! :) I pity the Scrat though, wawa naman tsk tsk tsk. Another highlight is the kilig love story of Manny and Ellie, the wacky mammoths. And the equally adorable duos -- Sid and Diego, Crash and Eddie.

April Fool's @ T.M.F.

We went to The Mango Farm in Antipolo a few hours ago. We did some ocular and checked the rates. And got brochures from various vendors. ;)

The place is beautiful. Accessibility is a question though. Hmmm...

Anyway, that's all for now. :-)

I remember, it's April Fool's day. I hope this ocular visit is not a big joke. ;)
