Hong Kong

Sunday, March 4, 2007

First stop, Avenue of Stars.

Then off to Hollwood Hotel.

Late lunch (and some pic taking) at Club Mickey

This is one of my favorite pic, taken inside the elevator of Hollywood Hotel in HK Disneyland. Cool noh? :)

Walang kupas na entrance ng HK Disneyland (di pwedeng walang picture dito ang mga Pinoy na nagpupunta ng Disneyland!) :P

Happy birthday, DM! =)

Daydreaming :)

Too bad we didn't enjoy our Victoria Peak night tour because it was raining then so all we can see was fog.. and since I felt like I was in a freezer when we were in Victoria Peak, we then decided to have coffee in a nearby coffee shop.

Macau

Saturday, March 3, 2007

It's my first time in Macau. Nothing much to see, Casino's everywhere, but it's worth the visit. ;-) You can roam Macau for just a day or even half a day?

Macau is like an hour away from Hong Kong. We just took the ferry ride to Macau coming from Kowloon. Roughly PHP3,000 for a round trip, not bad, huh!

Meralco Week: Cheering Competition

Wednesday, March 14

Cheering competition in Meralco, I would say, is one of the most awaited events every anniversary month. All the participating Meralco groups always give out their best, they're like pro's actually, pwede ipanlaban sa highschool, swear. ;)

This is the first time our group, Meralco Subsidiaries, joined the competition and I'm glad I was a part of the cheering squad. (ehem!)

Eventhough I was exhausted and stressed for almost a month coz of the long-hour-rehearsals, not to mention the super difficult steps - even more difficult than my board exam hehehe, I had a great time, as in super I had fun. I met new friends, special mention ang MG's (mean girls). :) Hi MG's!

“That's what learning is, after all; not whether we lose the game, but how we lose and how we've changed because of it and what we take away from it that we never had before, to apply to other games. Losing, in a curious way, is winning.”

Hahahaha bitter! ;-) Ok na yun, pumayat naman kami ni Trix eh, hehehe.

P.S. Special thanks to Alfred, Trix and Hani for the pix.

Meralco Week: Mardi Gras

Friday, March 10

Meralco's week-long anniversary celebration was a huge success. The never-ending rehearsals, bruises from the extremely difficult dance steps, and late night props preparations were all forgotten during the Mardi Gras. I would say that each of the participating Meralco groups deserves an award for their efforts. ;-)

Annabans' Shower Parteeeh

Thursday, 15 March 2007
7PM
Trix' Place, Amberland

Shower parties are considered a tradition before single females tie the knot, and so we gave our dear Annabans a simple shower two days before her big day.

Her eMVI sisters, college friends and Digitel colleagues joined the fun. Annabans took home nighties with thongs ;), a decent book (hehehe syempre decent, ako nagbigay e :P), gnutella melted chocolate (hmmmm... for what kaya to?) and lactacyd! Hahahaha!

The stripper ditched us. ;) But who needs boys? We don't need one to have fun, chikahan pa lang, ok na. Lalo na chikahan with Trix' mixed drinks, weeeeenerr! ;)

I hope the bride had fun, a simple gift before she lost her singlehood. :)
